The purpose of the processing for which the personal data are intended is organization of the conference “Xth European Colloquium on Maritime Law Research” which will be held in Toruń on 20th-21st of September 2018. The legal basis for the processing is art. 6.1(f) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, where legitimate interests pursued by the controller is the organization of the conference. Personal data may be transferred as requested by legal regulations to public authorities or bodies. Data will be stored until finalizing preparation of the conference publication. Data subject may request from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń access and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning the data subject or to object to processing. Moreover, data subject has a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Provision of personal data is a contractual requirement necessary for the purpose of enrollment and participation in the conference. Failure to provide personal data as: name, email address and affiliation, will render participation in the conference impossible, whereas personal data as: food requirements and choice of attraction will render impossible menu adjustment and taking part in additional attractions.
